We stayed in a stylish room that fit our budget perfectly. the location was great, as the hotel was close to the surrounding area and the city center. Plus, it was a reasonable distance from a public beach. 🌊.

Fairly clean hotel, very very helpful staff, particularly good location in a very pretty or "touristy " neighborhood. Location close enough to the surrounding area, and the centre. For shots visit The Lord High Admiral, nestled within 10 minutes' walk of the venue. Really good stay, as always.

The rooms are extremely spacious and budget and generally offer air conditioning, multi-channel TV, and a seating area. The beds are exceptionally comfortable to sleep on.

I recently stayed at Oyo 1026 Hotel Lutana in Sandakan for a business trip and I must say, my director made an excellent choice. The hotel is conveniently located near some of the area's top attractions, including the Borneo Sun Bear Conservation Centre and the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. These were definitely highlights of my stay, allowing me to experience the beauty of nature and the incredible wildlife in the area.

While my overall experience at Oyo 1026 Hotel Lutana was positive, there were a few minor issues.

We were lucky to have a room with a view of the shipyard and ocean, making our stay at Oyo 1026 Hotel Lutana truly memorable. The surrounding area had several cheap restaurants, a market, and fruit vendors, offering convenient dining options. We loved being able to open our window and enjoy the refreshing ocean breeze. The hot water straight from the taps and the separate shower and toilet were added conveniences. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as pillows needing some airing out, we found our stay to be excellent value for money. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Convenient location for Sepilok Orangutan conservation center, with cheap transportation options available. Comfortable and clean room with friendly and helpful staff. Assistance provided in arranging onward travel. Enjoyed the company of a friendly feline resident. Good air conditioning in the room.

I had the most amazing experience at Oyo 1026 Hotel Lutana in Sandakan. the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially the manager and lady at the front desk. They went above and beyond to ensure my wellbeing, arranging a safe drive for me to Kinabatangan River at a much lower cost. They even drove me to the meeting point where the driver was waiting. the room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel is conveniently located near Sepilok Orangutan conservation centre.

I highly recommend this hotel for its great staff and excellent service. Cons: Didn't dislike anything about the property.

Great budget option, clean rooms & helpful staff. the room was tidy and an amazing value for the money. the staff was really friendly and went out of their way to assist me. Plus, there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, making it convenient for dining and shopping.

Large forest enclosures provide a "natural" environment and Oyo tries to ensure comfort and convenience. Habeeb Restaurant offers Indian food and Sandakan has diverse cuisines. Shopping centers sell stuff and Sim Sim Seafood is a place to go. Canopy walkways can give you vertigo, but what's life without danger? English Tea House serves British food.

Nothing negative to say about this wonderful experience.
